BLACK & GREY REALISM

Born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Manuel Giron - professionally known as Manny Tattoo Artist - discovered his passion for art through drawing in high school. After immigrating to the United States and settling in Houston, the unexpected loss of his landscaping job in 2014 inspired him to pursue a creative career. Completely self-taught, Manny built his craft through discipline, persistence, and a genuine passion for tattooing.

Manny specializes in large-scale custom Black and Grey Realism, drawing inspiration from realism, surrealism, religious imagery, mythology, skulls, and darker subject matter. His work is recognized for its bold contrast, smooth shading, realistic detail, and powerful composition. His dedication has earned him awards at Villain Arts tattoo conventions, including recognition in the Large Black and Grey category and Best of Day in Black and Grey.

Manny values the connections he builds with clients and fellow artists. Through detailed conversations and in-person consultations, he transforms each client’s vision into a powerful, personal, and one-of-a-kind piece. Now creating at Riders on the Storm in Houston, his goal is to give every client a tattoo they can wear with happiness, confidence, and pride.
