Born and raised in South Florida, Ander’s journey as a tattoo artist began 4 years ago while studying Studio Art at Florida State University. Originally a charcoal figure drawing artist, Ander’s artistic experience stems from his passion for understanding the human body and mind connection as a physical expression of bodily autonomy.

As a queer Venezuelan artist, Ander has sought to create security in his clients’ sense of self through the art of tattooing. His work focuses on the deeply personal transformation of the body that takes place during the tattoo ritual. He uses tattooing as a medium for his clients to reclaim their bodies and feel more confident in their own skin.

With every piece created, Ander seeks to invite community, creativity, and empowerment. He specializes in fineline, high contrast blackwork, and anime. Having only moved to Houston in 2026, he is now a resident at Riders on the Storm and open for booking.
